The Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation supports the Arts through The New Norton Capital Campaign

Slated to debut in February 2019, The New Norton is sure to please with it’s prize-winning re-imagined architecture compliments of Lord Norman Foster of the firm Foster + Partners. The campaign will allow for the re-orienting of the main entrance to face South Dixie Highway hoping to draw in and engage the communities surrounding patrons.

The campaign will also provide for 12,000 square feet of new galleries, a new education center with two new classrooms for adult programming, family activities and school functions.

There will be a new 210-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and a beautiful new restaurant.

The building wouldn’t be complete without a new modern museum store and a visually pleasing great hall to act as the museum’s cozy and inviting “living room” and community space.

We invite the community to enjoy The New (and Improved) Norton this February. From the inviting gardens to the expanded exhibit space and re-imagined programs, we are sure that the next 78 years and beyond will prove just as inspiring as the first.
